The Urban Renewal Programme - PRU, involved the construction of a functional mix of residential, commercial structures, as well as a large urban park and buildings for production and offices. The park is bordered by the Lambro river and extends along the east-west axis. This was an important element in the design phase, considering the potential flooding in case of heavy rain; in this regard were born collages, handmade, not digital, which represent the "sets" of these landscapes flooded and, in addition, a detailed study on a storage purification and reuse of rainwater system, for the benefit of residences of this new area. In addition, the project considers recreation, culture and entertainment inside the shed closer to the ring road, called the "crystal palace" which has to be completely renovated. It was also enhanced and redesigned the whole connecting route, from road routes (scroll slow, fast, pedestrian, etc ...) to interchange nodes and connections to the internal area of the project, after have completed a thorough network road transport analysis across the Milan area city.
