Project of restoration and reuse
of Palazzo Dugnani

Milan

The project began with a deep analysis of the restoration of the Palace Dugnani in Milan. In particular it was considered the entrance area and the first two rooms of the palace.

The project has come across the whole stage in which consists the "method of direct detection", therefore an analysis of "campaign" (photographic survey, collection of measurements, analysis of possible degradation) and the "return" and representation (trilaterate plants, listed, sections, elevations and sketches). The project ended with a phase of re-use with the purpose of assigning it to museum area as well as the city of Milan wanted, which wanted it to be converted into a museum of 'nineteenth century.
